## How we measure

Once a minute the API checks its database, the map renderer and the geocoder, and records the result. A minute with no record, because the server or the API was down, counts as down. Measurements started on Nov 5, 2026.

Business plans have a 99.5% monthly uptime target with service credits; see [the Terms](https://pinsharing.com/terms#credits). Planned maintenance is announced here at least 48 hours ahead.
