# PinSharing vs MapTiler

MapTiler is a polished map platform with beautiful styles, satellite imagery and design tools. PinSharing is narrower: storable static images and geocodes, a hard cap, and a free plan you may use commercially.

## Questions

**Can I use MapTiler's free plan commercially?**

MapTiler's pricing page lists the free plan as non-commercial. PinSharing's free plan allows commercial use.

**Does MapTiler bill overage?**

Flex bills overage per 1,000 sessions and requests, and lets you set a spending limit. PinSharing has no overage: a hard cap on every plan.
